YIT (Buy, TP: EUR6.30) - Strategic tweaking, expect Q3 beat
YIT hosted its annual CMD on 27 September, focusing on the ‘new’ strategy ‘Performance through cycles’, with two priorities: 1) urban development; and 2) non-cyclical businesses. With no changes in financial targets, the four cornerstones in the strategy were our focus. Ahead of the Q3 results due on 26 October at 08:00 EET, we expect a consensus beat. On our updated forecast, we have raised our EPS 2019e by 6%, raised our target price to EUR6.3 (5.5), and upgraded to BUY (HOLD).YIT provides services for the construction sector. Co. has two segments: Housing and Business Premises and Infrastructure. The Housing segment is engaged in the development and construction of housing, holiday homes and entire residential areas, with a focus on its own developments. This segment is also engaged in property maintenance in Russia. The Business Premises and Infrastructure segment is engaged in the development and construction of offices, shopping malls, public facilities, assisted living facilities and other business premises; renovation projects; construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, rail and metro stations, ports and power plants; as well as road and street maintenance.
