GLPR - 4Q21 Result Note
In 4Q21, Global Ports Investment Plc’s (GLPR’s) consolidated marine container throughput declined 0.9% (vs +4.4% registered by the Russian marine container market). The underperformance was led by weak operating performance recorded by the company’s Baltic Basin operations. However, when compared with a more relevant regional market growth, GLPR’s consolidated volumes outperformed by a margin of 2.2 percentage points. In the Far East, GLPR underperformed the region’s growth. GLPR’s stock currently trades in an overvalued zone with an EV/EBITDA of 11.6x (vs Drewry equity port portfolio: 8.8x). We will revise our fair value once the company publishes its detailed financials.
