Nabaltec AG raises revenue forecast again for Financial Year 2021 and publishes preliminary quarterly data

Schwandorf, 28 October 2021 - Nabaltec is again increasing its revenue forecast for 2021, recently raised in July, due to the continued very positive business performance. For 2021 as a whole, Nabaltec AG now expects revenue growth in a range of 13% to 15% (previously: 11% to 14%). In addition, Nabaltec refined its EBIT margin for the current financial year, now expecting a range between 11% and 12% (previously: 10% to 12%).

According to preliminary data, consolidated revenue from January to September 2021 climbed to EUR 140.6 million, up 18.3% from the same period of last year (EUR 118.9 million). The "Functional Fillers" product segment achieved sales of EUR 97.7 million and the "Specialty Alumina" product segment of EUR 42.9 million, according to the preliminary data. In the third quarter of 2021, Nabaltec AG's revenue of EUR 46.7 million was 25.9% higher than in the same period from the previous year (EUR 37.1 million). According to the preliminary data, EBIT in the first nine months of 2021 was EUR 17.0 million, compared to EUR 5.0 million in the same period of last year. The EBIT margin (as a percentage of total performance) thus reached 12.3%.
