PANTAFLIX AG: PANTALEON Films-Production RESISTANCE celebrates Premiere in the USA - German cinema release on November 12, 2020 Munich, March 09, 2020. PANTALEON Films, the wholly owned film production subsidiary of PANTAFLIX AG (GSIN: , ISIN: ), celebrates the US premiere of the international production RESISTANCE. On March 15, 2020, the film will be screened to industry professionals and fans at the Cinequest Film Festival (California, USA) with director Jonathan Jakubowicz in attendance. RESISTANCE will also be shown at various festivals in the USA, including - the Boulder Film Festival, - the Omaha Film Festival, - the Charleston Film Festival, - the Film Class screening in New York - and the Miami Gems Film Festival. The distribution of IFC Films for the US cinema release is scheduled for March 27, 2020. In Germany, Warner Bros. Pictures Germany will bring "RESISTANCE - Widerstand" to the cinemas on November 12, 2020. Cineastes can already get a first impression when watching the that PANTALEON Films released in early February. The story is inspired of true events. Marcel Marceau's (Jesse Eisenberg) influence as an entertainer - from the Moonwalk to Bip the Clown - is legendary. But as an underground French Resistance fighter, the untold story of his youth is just as extraordinary. "We are very proud of RESISTANCE and very much looking forward to the international exploitation of the film, which we now want to start showing at a number of great festivals," says Managing Director of PANTALEON Films and producer Dan Maag.
