Pharvaris Announces $70 Million Private Placement Financing

ZUG, Switzerland, June 20, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- (Nasdaq: PHVS), a clinical-stage company focused on the development and commercialization of novel oral bradykinin-B2-receptor antagonists for the treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) and other bradykinin-B2-receptor-mediated indications, today announced that it has entered into a subscription agreement relating to the offer and sale of an aggregate of 6,951,340 ordinary shares of the Company, par value €0.12 per share (the “Ordinary Shares”), in a private placement (the “Offering”) to a group of institutional investors, led by and with participation from , , and , at an offering price of $10.07 per share, for gross proceeds of approximately $70 million before deducting any offering-related expenses.

The Offering is expected to close on or about June 21, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.

Pharvaris intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering to fund research and development and product discovery expenses, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
