Spirit Airlines Charitable Foundation Hits ‘Hole-In-One’ on Donations, Tops $1 million at The Spirit Open Golf Event

Proceeds from fourth annual fundraiser to go directly to nonprofit organizations across the U.S., Latin America and Caribbean

PARKLAND, Fla., Feb. 27, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Professionals from the aviation industry hit the links with community leaders at The Spirit Airlines Charitable Foundation’s fourth annual golf event Thursday. Together, they collected a record $1 million for nonprofit organizations, nearly matching the total raised at the past three Spirit Open tournaments combined.

More than 200 partners and team members attended the reception and event at the Parkland Golf & Country Club, backed by more than 100 companies sponsoring the event. This year’s presenting sponsors are , and .
