Polish Mutual Fund Flows: Another month of huge inflows

We estimate that in November total inflows to capital market funds reached PLN 2.4bn. The money market gained PLN 1.35bn, fixed income funds PLN 374m, mixed funds PLN 217m and equity funds gained PLN 291m. We have also singled out absolute return funds from the “other” category and according to our estimates they gained PLN 84m net. PKO TFI saw the highest inflows followed by Investors TFI, while Opera TFI suffered the biggest loss of assets under management.
We calculate Polish mutual funds bought a net PLN 384m of equities of which a net PLN 400m was bought in foreign markets and PLN 17m was sold in the Polish market.
