Polish Mutual Fund Flows: AuM still on an upward curve

We estimate that in December total inflows to capital market funds reached PLN 908m. The money market funds gained PLN 1.1bn and mixed funds PLN 198m, which were offset by outflows from fixed income and other funds of PLN 102m and equity funds outflows of PLN 145m. PKO TFI saw the highest inflows followed by Pioneer TFI, while KBC TFI suffered the biggest loss of assets under management.
We calculate Polish mutual funds sold a net PLN 159m of equities of which a net PLN 142m was sold on foreign markets and PLN 18m was sold in the Polish market.
In 2017 assets under management increased by 7.8% YoY and reached PLN 279bn, with the highest inflows of PLN 9.1bn to money market funds.
