Hong Kong, August 29, 2017-- Moody's Investors Service says that Shanghai Electric Power Company Limited's weak 1 H 2017 results have no immediate impact on its Baa2 issuer rating or the Baa2 guaranteed senior unsecured debt rating of the bonds issued by Shanghai Electric Power Finance Limited and guaranteed by SEP.Shanghai Electric Power is engaged in the generation and sale of electric power and thermal power. Co. is also engaged in the development and construction of thermal power plant; the provision of electric power technical services and production and sale of related products; integrated utilization and development of thermal power generation; design, installation, operation, debugging, examine and repair of electric power equipment and related auxiliary; wind power generation; sale of fuel oil and coal; water transportation; ship repair; processing mechanical parts; and domestic trading.
