A new management team is beginning to take Bemis in the right direction.
While Bemis' third quarter showed signs of improvement versus the trailing two quarters, management trimmed guidance for the year and expects the fourth quarter to be challenging. Earlier in the year, management proved willing to trim prices if customers would maintain or increase their volumes. As the end of the year approaches, it remains to be seen whether customers will come through on volumes. While we've tempered expectations for both 2017 and 2018, our long-term outlook remains unchanged....
