Supported by hepatitis C drug sales, AbbVie reported strong first-quarter results, ahead of both our and consensus expectations, and we expect to slightly increase our fair value estimate based on the outperformance. We believe the market is correctly balancing AbbVie's strong recent performance with the likely future pressures from eventual biosimilar Humira launches.
