Performance Issues Mar AGF Management's Fiscal 2Q Results; Maintaining CAD 7.50 per Share FVE
There was little in no-moat-rated AGF Management's fiscal second-quarter results that would alter our long-term view of the firm. We are leaving our CAD 7.50 per share fair value estimate in place. Total assets under management, or AUM, increased 5.6% from the year-ago period, leaving AGF Management with CAD 38.4 billion in managed assets at the end of May 2018. Mutual fund net sales of CAD 100 million were an improvement on both the first quarter of fiscal 2018 (negative CAD 65 million) and the...AGF Management is an integrated, global wealth management corporation whose principal subsidiaries provide investment management for mutual funds, institutions and corporations, as well as high-net-worth clients; and trust products and services (including real estate secured loans and investment loans and Guaranteed Investment Certificates). Co. conducts the management and distribution of mutual funds in Canada under the brand names AGF, Elements and Harmony (collectively, AGF Funds). Co. conducts its trust business under the name AGF Trust Company.
