Allergan Seeking Buyers for Women's Health and Infectious Disease Assets; Shares Still Undervalued

Allergan has announced that it will attempt to sell its women's health and infectious disease segments as part of the company's recent strategic review. Combined sales for these assets currently represent about 6% of revenue. We're not particularly surprised by the announcement given Allergan's lack of leadership in these categories and greater ease to separate them from the rest of the business.
