Robust mining activity drove ALS's growth but diversification is partially reducing cyclicality.

Why are we not more bullish on ALS Limited’s growth potential? The company has proven a phenomenal generator of shareholder value. In the 20 years to 2012, it grew net operating cash flow per fully diluted share by a factor of 30, and dividends by slightly more.
