APA Group - Dr Vertigan's Recommendations Appear Sensible
In his submission to the COAG Energy Council, Dr Michael Vertigan recommended against increasing regulation of the gas transmission industry, which would have been very difficult to implement in our opinion. Rather, he proposes forcing greater transparency from the pipelines and giving customers improved access to binding arbitration.
