AusNet Announces Small Special Dividend; No change to FVE
AusNet Services adjusted its dividend guidance after reassessing fiscal 2017 tax payable. It now expects to pay less tax, which translates to stronger free cash flows available for dividends but a reduced level of franking credits. As such, guidance is now for regular dividends of AUD 8.8 cents per share 25% franked plus an unfranked special dividend of AUD 1 cent per share. Prior guidance was for AUD 8.8 cents 50% franked.
