Aveo Progresses Pivot Towards All-of-Life Care. We Retain Our Positive View
At its Annual General Meeting, Aveo provided an operating update for the first four months of fiscal 2017. The retirement business is trading in line with historical norms, with unit turnover in the 10% to 12% band, and the construction of new units across six villages on schedule to hit 230 in fiscal 2017. We see the recent rise in bond yields and the escalating supply of new housing supply will weigh on housing price growth over the medium term. Reflecting this, we have trimmed our expectation...Aveo Group is engaged in the development for resale of land and residential, retail, commercial and industrial property, the investment in, and management of, income producing retail, commercial and industrial Property, commercial, industrial and residential building and construction for the Group, and funds and asset management. As of June 30, 2016, Co. operated in two segments: Retirement, which develops and operates retirement villages and aged care facilities to produce rental and other income; and Non-retirement, which develops residential, commercial and retail property.
