Santander Chile Benefits From Increasing Net Interest Margins

Banco Santander Chile continued its momentum from the first quarter with year-over-year growth in earnings of 29.4% and sequential growth of 5.7%. Much of this growth is attributable to lower interest rates. In the short term, Santander Chile is liability-sensitive and any decrease in interest rates will benefit net interest margins.
