A new management team has Bemis pointed in the right direction.
Bemis' second-quarter results fell short of our expectations, as operating income weakened in its Global Packaging segment. In combination with the sudden slowdown in order volumes earlier this year, the company is likely to remain challenged throughout 2017 and into 2018.
