That’s a Wrap at the 2017 Paris Air Show
We’ve been at the Paris Air Show this week, and after surviving the scorching temperatures we’re calling it quits for this year. Boeing enjoyed a flurry of orders thanks to the launch of its 737 MAX 10 (361 orders and commitments booked). Thanks primarily to the MAX 10 and a good 787 showing, Boeing beat Airbus, booking 820 orders and commitments. Excluding the 208 737 MAX 10 conversions and the unidentified orders that transitioned to identified, Boeing puts its incremental orders and commitmen...The Boeing is an aerospace firm. The company's segments include: Commercial Airplanes, which develops, produces and markets commercial jet aircraft and provides fleet support services, mainly to the commercial airline industry; Defense, Space and Security, which engages in the research, development, production and modification of manned and unmanned military aircraft and weapons systems for strike, surveillance and mobility, vertical lift, and commercial derivative aircraft; Global Services, which provides supply chain and logistics management, pilot and maintenance training systems and services, and data analytics and digital services; and Boeing Capital, which manages overall financing exposure.
