Bricks and brick pits make for a useful combination.

Brickworks is due to report its fiscal 2016 results on 22 September. We forecast net profit after tax (presignificant items) of AUD 149 million (EPS of AUD 1.00), up 24.2% on the previous corresponding period, and second-half DPS of AUD 0.32 (100% franked). On a like-for-like basis, we forecast 29% growth in EBIT in the second half.
