Briscoe Group Earnings In Line; Our FV Increases On Strong Sales Growth and Margin Expansion
No-moat-rated Briscoe Group reported first-half fiscal 2017 underlying net profit after tax, or NPAT, of NZD 27.3 million, in line with guidance of at least NZD 27.0 million provided in July 2016. NPAT was up 33% over the previous corresponding period. The significant increase in income was driven by a 10% increase in sales, augmented by higher operating margins.
