Centrica's Creation of E&P Joint Venture With German Utility Provides Future Optionality
We reiterate our GBX 250 fair value estimate and narrow moat and stable trend ratings for Centrica after the firm announced it will combine its exploration and production assets with those of German utility Bayerngas Norge. Centrica will own 69% of this joint venture and Bayerngas Norge 31%. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
