Slashing Our Centrica FVE to GBX 150 From GBX 250 and Downgrading Moat Rating to None From Narrow
We've slashed our fair value estimate for Centrica to GBX 150 per share from GBX 250 owing to structural profitability deterioration. We've downgraded our narrow moat rating to none (still stable), chiefly due to mounting political and competitive pressure. To offset the deteriorating backdrop, management is likely to increase its efficiency program next February.
