Charter Hall’s Commitment to IPO of Long WALE REIT Supports Long Tail of Fees
As foreshadowed, narrow moat-rated Charter Hall Group is amalgamating a series of managed or owned assets to create the listed entity of the Charter Hall Long WALE REIT. Assets in the new entity have been valued at AUD 1.25 billion and comprise office (29%), industrial (47%) and retail assets (24%). The market capitalisation will exceed AUD 1 billion and at the time of the IPO will have look-through gearing under 20%, with Charter Hall initially having a coinvestment of up to AUD 250 million.
