Cheniere Energy announced it has reached a merger agreement with Cheniere Energy Partners LP Holdings following its offer to acquire the remaining 8% of the latter in May. The final price of $30.93 was slightly above the original offer of $28.24, which isn't material enough to change our original conclusion that the deal is a sound one.
