Cheniere Signs First LNG Deal With China
Cheniere Energy announced that it has signed two LNG agreements with China National Petroleum for about 1.2 million tons per year. Until this point, Cheniere had been supplying China with LNG via the spot market, and the agreement represents the first long-term contract for LNG between the U.S. and China.
