New Board Positive for Vanke Despite Wang Shi Stepping Down
China Vanke announced it had received notice from Shenzhen Metro, or SZMC, to call for a shareholder meeting to nominate a new board of directors. The nomination did not include the Vanke chairman Wang Shi. The nomination includes three executives from SZMC and one executive from Shenzhen SEG (also a state-owned enterprise) as non-executive directors.
