Australian Beverages Cause Coca-Cola Amatil’s FY17 Earnings to Go Flat; FVE Reduced to AUD 9.80
We cut our fair value estimate for narrow-moat-rated Coca-Cola Amatil by 2% to AUD 9.80 per share following the fiscal 2017 profit warning. The company expects flat underling net profit after tax, or NPAT, which is below our forecast of a 2.9% uplift, primarily due to weakness in the core Australian business, which accounts for around half of group revenue and two thirds of operating profit.
