Computershare’s FVE Maintained Following Equatex Acquisition
The market responded favourably to narrow-moat-rated Computershare’s USD 420 million acquisition of Equatex, a European provider of employee share plan services, but we’ve maintained our fair value estimate at AUD 13.30 per share. The acquisition isn’t hugely material to the group, with Equatex’s enterprise value equating to around 4% of Computershare’s market capitalisation. Group revenue will increase by around 3%, but revenue related to the employee share plan will increase by around 35%. Gro...Computershare is engaged in the operation of investor services, which provides registry maintenance and related services; plan services, which provides administration and related services for employee share and option plans; communication services, which comprise document composition and printing, intelligent mailing, among others; business services, which provides bankruptcy, class action and utilities administration services, voucher services, corporate trust services and mortgage servicing activities; stakeholder relationship management services, which provides investor analysis, investor communication and management information services; and technology services.
