Crescent Point Rebounds From a Weak Fourth Quarter

No-moat Crescent Point Energy reported a strong first quarter, rebounding from a weak fourth quarter. The company reported first-quarter adjusted operating cash flow of CAD 508 million, up over 50% from the fourth quarter and above our expectations. The increased cash flow was driven by an improvement in realized pricing. Crude pricing realizations averaged CAD 64.64 per barrel of oil equivalent, which was up almost 20% from the fourth quarter while West Texas Intermediate prices declined by 7%....
