Enbridge's Fourth-Quarter Results Below Expectations
Enbridge reported fourth-quarter adjusted EBIT of CAD 1.2 billion, an increase of 7% from the year-ago quarter and below our expectations of CAD 1.3 billion. Available cash flow from operations remained flat from the prior-year period at CAD 880 million, coming in below our expectations of CAD 1.2 billion. Increased EBIT was driven by stronger contributions from the Liquids Pipelines segment, which benefited from new assets being placed into service during 2015 and 2016.
