Engie Releases a Good Set of First-Half Results and Confirms Full-Year Guidance; Shares Undervalued
We reiterate our EUR 15.50 fair value estimate and our no-moat, stable trend ratings after Engie released a good set of results enabling it to confirm its full-year guidance. Management confirmed its interest in EDPR's U.S. assets and announced that the expected investor day will be held in February 2019. Shares are undervalued.ÂEBITDA came in at EUR 5.1 billion, up by 6.2% organically, in line with the first quarter's 6%. Recurring net income increased by 19% to EUR 1.5 billion.Â
