Eni Posts Solid 3Q as Upstream Delivers Strong Growth and Gas and Power Breaks Even
Eni reported a solid third quarter as its upstream and downstream continue to post good results and the tide is turning for the gas and power segment. Adjusted profits of EUR 229 million showed a significant improvement from EUR 484 million in losses last year. Higher than expected production growth of 7% excluding PSA and OPEC cut effects driven by faster ramp-ups in the quarter as well as improving oil prices lifted profits in the upstream to EUR 441 million from a break-even quarter last year...
