Equinix’s CEO Resigned on Poor Judgment Over an Employee Matter; Maintaining $500 FVE

On Jan 25, Equinix CEO Steve Smith resigned from his role and from the board after exercising poor judgment over an employee issue. Chairman Peter Van Camp was appointed interim CEO of the company, while the firm searches for a new CEO. Van Camp had served on the CEO role from 2000 and 2007.
