Ergen Stepping Down as CEO at Dish; No Strategic Shifts Expected
Dish announced on Tuesday that Chairman Charlie Ergen has stepped down as CEO and COO Erik Carlson has been promoted to the role. Ergen will now focus on the firm’s wireless strategy with Carlson running the day-to-day business.
