Energy Transfer Partners reported light fourth-quarter results, with consolidated EBITDA of $1.43 billion compared with consensus estimates of $1.48 billion. Distributable cash generation in the quarter again failed to meet full distribution coverage (0.89 times). Weakness in the quarter primarily stemmed from the midstream business, as costs associated with the integration of the PennTex Midstream Partners acquisition weighed on margins.
