Fairfax Financial Holdings Gives a Bit on Its Bearish Posture
Fairfax announced that, following the election of Donald Trump, it is reducing the size of the equity hedges. At the end of the third quarter, hedges represented 113% of Fairfax’s equity holdings, and that has been reduced to 50%, putting the company in a still cautious, but net long position.
