Fresenius Increases Home Dialysis Exposure Through NxStage Acquisition
We’re not particularly surprised to see Fresenius Medical Care announce its intention to acquire NxStage Medical, which would boost Fresenius’ in home-based hemodialysis and acute dialysis products. Even when considering potential higher growth of NxStage’s assets and expected synergies, the $2 billion deal price looks expensive to us.
