Federal Realty Reports Successful Leasing Efforts Amid 3Q Results
Federal Realty reported third-quarter results that were modestly above management guidance. Funds from operations for the quarter came in at $1.50 per share, a 6.4% increase from a year ago. The company increased occupancy 60 basis points on its overall portfolio year over year, which now stands at 94.9%. Comparable cash space leasing spreads were a positive 14%, leading to 4.4% growth in same-center operating income, or 2.6% excluding redeveloped properties.
