Elliott Management's GEA Stake Following GBL's Increases the Probability of a Management Change
U.S. activist shareholder Elliott Management has taken a 3% stake in GEA Group just one month after the Belgian investment fund GBL revealed its own 3% stake. With the addition of Elliott, we think changes at GEA, particularly in terms of management, are now more likely within the next 12-24 months.
