GEA Is a Turnaround Story and Not a Value Trap; Top Line Recovering; Margin Disappoints
GEA Group pre-released first-quarter results revealing a 6% quarterly group EBITDA margin, about half the level of our full-year forecast and last year's full-year margin. Revenue growth still looks solid with a 3% growth rate in reported terms and 8% on a constant-currency basis. We forecast 5% growth on a reported basis for the full year. As the top line continues to recover in line with our thesis, cost-cutting measures are under way, as is a planned CEO change.
