There was little new information for investors to take in from no-moat George Weston’s second-quarter earnings results. The company’s Loblaw division, 95% of George Weston total sales and EBITDA, had already reported its results, which tracked in line with our model. Meanwhile, although the company’s Weston Food segment is seeing a delayed ramp of its frozen food business, at 5% of total sales and EBITDA it is too small to have a meaningful impact on consolidated financials.
