We are reaffirming our $28 fair value estimate and no-moat rating for Great Plains Energy after the company reported 2017 adjusted earnings per share of $1.74, $0.04 higher than our estimate and $0.02 more than consensus. Mild weather was the most significant factor affecting adjusted EPS, accounting for $0.19 compared with normal weather.
