Hill-Rom lacks a convincing moat source, but the moat trend remains stable.

Hill-Rom reported fourth-quarter and full-year 2017 results consistent with our overall expectations, while providing details surrounding management's longer-term outlook through 2020. While first-quarter and full-year 2018 guidance falls a little short of both our and consensus estimates, the three-year projections tend to land comfortably within our base-case model.
