Solid End to Fiscal 2017 Leaves Our Outlook Intact for IHS Markit; Shares Fairly Valued

We do not plan a large change to our $44 per share valuation for wide-moat IHS Markit, with the time value of money offsetting lower-than-expected U.S. tax reform benefits (2% expected effective rate impact versus our earlier 5%). Our long-term targets, calling for mid-single-digit revenue growth against adjusted EBITDA margins expanding into the mid-40s by fiscal 2021 (versus 39% in fiscal 2017), are intact.
