Imperva Lifts Its Outlook for 3Q; More Executive Team Changes; Maintaining $40 FVE
On Oct. 19, Imperva announced an upward revision to its third-quarter fiscal 2017 financial forecast that, while positive, does not move the needle on our $40 fair value estimate for the firm. Imperva now expects revenue to be in the range of $83.5 million-$84 million, above the firm’s previous guidance of $81 million-$83 million. The firm projects non-GAAP operating income of $10.5 million-$11 million, compared with previous guidance of $8.3 million-$9.4 million, as well as non-GAAP EPS of $0.2...Imperva is engaged in the development, marketing, sales, service and support of cyber-security solutions that protect data and applications whether in the cloud or on premises. The company's SecureSphere, CounterBreach and Camouflage product lines secure business-critical applications and data in physical and virtual data centers from hackers and malicious insiders. The company's Payment Card Industry certified Incapsula service delivers cloud-based Website Security, Distributed Denial of Service Protection and Load Balancing and Failover. The company also sells its ThreatRadar services as an add-on services to its SecureSphere appliances, which provides reputation and crowdsourced security intelligence services.
