Infinera’s Q4 Was Expectedly Weak; Sizable Margin Contraction; Maintain $10 FVE
Infinera’s fourth-quarter results were largely in line with our expectations. The company is still in a difficult spot as it updates its product portfolio. Management expects a challenging couple of quarters before new product launches provide material improvement to top and bottom lines. We are somewhat concerned by the fact that roughly 40% of Infinera revenue generation is currently in the process of being merged or acquired as a wave of M&A sweeps over the telco and cable space.
