Ingredion reported encouraging first-quarter results, as adjusted earnings rose to $1.88 per share from $1.78 in the same period last year. Accordingly, management raised the low end of its 2017 adjusted earnings forecast to a range of $7.50-$7.80 per share from prior guidance to a range of $7.40-$7.80 per share.
