We forecast flat margins for Ingredion as higher corn prices offset rising South America profits.

After reassessing Ingredion, we've upgraded its moat rating to narrow but lowered its fair value estimate to $125 from $145 based on a more moderate long-term profit outlook. 
With regard to Ingredion's economic moat, the company has consistently delivered ROICs above its weighted average cost of capital.
